We got a promo in the mail a week or so ago stating there would be new owners on March 1, 2012.

We stayed there two years ago for a few days while visiting Death Valley, Terribles was a very nice RV Park. I was impressed for the middle of the desert. I hope the new owners keep up on the park and not let it get run down, we were thinking of heading there again next spring for a few days.

Mike.

We stay there every Thanksgiving weekend. We have reservations for Thanksgiving this year already. Hope it stays the same. Nice place to stay and check out Death Valley on day trips.

I have reservations for Labor Day... Terribles is my favorite place when the temps hit 110 here in Vegas. I go over the hump to Pahrump and relax in the pool... eat at the buffet... fish in the lake (big pond) and I've been known to even paddle around the shores. I hope they keep the same people (great crew) and the same prices.... VERY GOOD for a really nice place.

Glad to hear this! While the campground & casino & food were ok, we found the staff to be uncaring. We had never stayed there before and were given sites close to the pool & lake. Never again! The ducks made such a poopy mess that attracted ants that got into our 5'r from the tree next to us and onto the roof. I fought those little ants for at least 3 months. The staff could have cared less. The pool was also in very poor condition, with the finish chipping off and laying on the bottom. We would stay again, very far away from the lake & ducks.
