New River Gorge W VA

I am looking for suggestions for a campground or RV park in the vicinity Of New River Gorge W VA. We don't require a lot of amenities, just hook ups WE&S preferred but not all are necessary. We are traveling in a class A 43' long & toad will be a flat trailer with the toad on it. Level sites & some space from our neighbors would be nice. However I realize we are going to be in the mountains & finding a level site may be extremely hard. Also important is somewhat easy access from Rt 19. We will be visiting in mid July.

We stayed here: Flatwoods KOA | Camping in West Virginia | KOA Campgrounds

I recall it's about 30-40 minutes from the New River Gorge Bridge

good sized park, we went for bridge day a few years ago,
and it was the closest and best suited for big rigs.

My top choice would be Battle Run COE park on Summersville Lake. Easy access to US Rt. 19, great views, and 15-20 minutes to the Gorge. Only concern, they do not allow dogs in the park if you have one. I have stayed there in my 43" MH.

Thanks, I will check in to both of these. No pets with us on this trip.
