New RV Park Under Construction in Keys

Yesterday, I was with a friend driving to Key Largo to look at a boat and shortly after entering Key Largo we passed what looked to me an RV park under construction.

I could make out the beach area on the bay side, I think I saw what could have been a boat ramp and a large building under construction but the tip off, to me anyway, was the stanchions where you plug in your RV's. It looked like about 30 to 40 of them.

It appeared that every space was but a short walk down to the waters edge

I wanted to stop on the way back but my friend was in a hurry and it was on the opposite side of US1 which meant a U turn and that's not easy with the traffic yesterday

Does anyone have any info at all about this
BTW the boat was a POS, that the owner thought was in great shape, I saw about 2K worth of needed repairs so we walked away

Do you have a phone number for reservations?

By my quick 10 second glance it looked as if the slots were laid out in a chevron pattern so you could drive down the middle with slots on either side and just drive in and I could not tell about leaving if there was sufficient space to drive straight out or if you had to back out.
There were no signs advertising anything, I was thinking to take a motorcycle ride down there and get some pictures and browse around until they throw me out.

It is right there on the water, a beautiful spot and not to far from all the stores

Not taking reservations yet and no prices have been determined. According to story in local paper last week. If I am not confused with something else they were working on getting a liquor license.

Found it on google maps overhead view

If you get on Google maps and go along US1 to the Caribbean Club, that's where Humphrey Bogart shot a hurricane movie, it is just a few lots before the Club. The shot must be several months old, the land is all cleared and there appears to be ditch's dug all over the place for underground plumbing etc.
But it gives you an idea of the place..
