Several years ago a fellow RVer mentioned a camp they used while visiting NYC. I recall it was in New Jersey and they took a ferry across to NYC. Can anyone help with a recommended cmapground close to NYC that would be convienent. It doesn't have to have all the bells & whistles.

Well, the first one that comes to mind is Liberty Harbor RV Park, it's right across the river from NYC. $60.00 per night.

We stayed a few miles out in Andover, NJ and drove in to Liberty Park. We stayed at the Panther Lake Camping Resort, (973) 347-4440, for $33.00 per night. It was an ok, quiet and clean place.
