Newbie Question-Atlanta-where to park awhile?

Hoping I might get some advice regarding a spot to park the MH near Atlanta for a few weeks while I load up before heading out

The house is gone; downsizing complete; most things in storage; and now the RV is finally purchased

heading out from Dallas back to Atlanta to park it while I load it up and get some final holiday travel in--then head out at end of year

staying with a friend right on the I75/I285 perimeter area and the storage unit is in Alpharetta

looking for good full hookup and a place that will be very secure while I am away for holiday travel a few days at a time--dont mind spending a few buck this initial stop for proximity and security

thanks in advance for any help

Happy Thanksgiving

Hi smilano,
These are a couple more choices:

1, Stone Mountain 800-385-9807 A PPA park for the first night. A bit pricey, but you might be able to work a deal this time of year. Georgia campgrounds, tent & rv camping: Stone Mountain Park near Atlanta, GA

2. Jones RV Park 770-923-0911 Long pull through sites. No amenities. It is a place to park and get propane. It is cheap. On I85 exit 101, a couple of miles from I285. Jones RV Park - Home

Smilano - For what you want, this meets all the criteria - especially this time of year when they don't "double up" the long sites. It isn't going to win any beauty awards (not even close) but it is pure function, close in, and decently priced.

I am jealous we are in Texas now waiting for our house SW of Atlanta to sell. We were looking at a mobile home park at exit 56 of I85, there were a few RVers using it. That option might be a bit cheaper than a RV park if you don't need the amenities.
