Full up by reservation ; says a bundle about the park.
Did they offer to put you on a call list in case of cancellations ?
Every year, our snowbird park gets 10>20 last min. cancellations, mostly due to health issues; this year could be worse due to the exchange rate on the Canadian dollar, my AZ park is 40% Canadian Snowbirds.

Hi Paigeatplay,
Welcome to iRV2. Is there a reason the search is confined to the Palm Harbor area? Are there other area you might be interested in?

Looking to access the Pinellas Bike Trail

Hi there fellow RVers.. I was indeed put on "page #2" of the waiting list at Bay Aire. A very friendly lady assured me that yes indeed there are cancellations due to illness, etc. & encouraged me to call back , but I`d be hard pressed to find a place at this late date. She gave me a few other parks to try & advised me to NOT call one place.( I had already put it on my "NO WAY" list) The main reason I picked this area was the lure of the Gulf Coast, love of Oceanside life, & my husband`s wish to ride mountain bikes. ( my husband `s doctor vacations every year in Tarpon Springs at his mother`s where he rides his "high end" mountain bike.) He`s been thinking for years that was something we should do. I myself fell in love with Ocean City, Maryland. If we could find "it" in Florida.....My dreams would be fulfilled !! In the meantime...research, research, & my thanks for all the support & suggestions. We CAN do this !!

When your down there, check out other places for future "Snowbirding" stays. My parents stay in South Texas and will put down a deposit as they leave to come back up in late March.

My parents have been wintering in South Texas (McAllen) for the last 15 years. They like it because it's (Cheap) about $350 - $375 a month + electric.

Oops !

Looking back at my excited post announcing our Flo. Winter plans....., I just noticed it`s Port Richey...Not "Fort Richey"!! Duh ....Thanks for letting it slide.....Newbie for sure !! LOL...We are "prepping" & making alterations to travel with two cats ( who aren`t exactly BFF`s) . I`m reading ALL the posts on traveling with Pets...Hope to offer suggestions myself (hopefully successes )LOL . We`ll be heading out before you know it . So excited.....but a little scared I admit. Safe travels to all this upcoming holiday...We`ll stay home for now , enjoying our own "Resort " area .( Upstate NY ) It`s the best......Till Winter comes !
