We have not yet ventured into this area of New Mexico but would like to camp there. We pull a 36 ft. toy hauler with our Razr onboard. Has anyone camped in the National Forest there and are there good places to explore on our toy? Thanks for any advice.

Here's a great web site for national forest camping throughout the country. Hope this helps. For Reserve, NM you are looking at Gila National Forest. There have been some huge wildfires in the area the past year so you might want to check with the local ranger station for the campground you choose to make sure the campground is still there! Good luck.

We appreciate the information. We do know about the fires and will call as you suggest to see if there are issues with any of the campgrounds we will visit.
