If we return we will stay on the U.S. side and drive across daily. Several factors caused me to decide this; cost, the Canadian side is much more expensive from our experience. The campsites are dismal. Where we stayed the park management, when notified a child had pooped in the pool, shrugged it off by just adding more chemical and dipping out the poop. They never did notify anyone present or post any warning of temporary closure. When I questioned the manager, he said Canada does not have any procedure for that.
If you do go, there is a restrant on the main drag(just before the bend in the street) that will allow you to park all day for a few American dollars.

Stayed at KOA Grand Island, NY. in August one year. We had a good site. We had a 2000 32ft Bounder 1 slide plenty of room. Only down side talking with workcampers, said they had so many first timers with RV rentals that were pigs. We were watching how this one couple were cleaning the comfort station by us every hour and having a hard time keeping it clean.
Grandkids call Niagra Falls the Worlds largest water park. They keep telling their parents they want to go back. Remember every thing you do, you get wet.
Right next to campground is Martin's Amusement Park. On Canadian side you got a lot of things to do besides the falls--the floral clock--gondala ride across the river--butterfly house--large power boat riding the rapids. There is also a lot of other things to do in the area on both sides. Area filled with history.

I stayed at the KOA on Grand Island and had to redefine tight to get in. I could not open my awning due to a small tree too close to my site. The poeple were nice and the Campground was clean. We did not spend much time at the Campground. We were at the Falls.
