I get the impression that it's not as nice as the jellystones in the states. We thought about it until we read the reviews....

The Canadian side gives a much better and grander view than the US side. We stayed on the US side (can''t remember the campground) and took the toad to the Canadian side. AS stated, no hand guns, big knives, weed, etc., be courteous at the crossing (both ways) and your trip should be enjoyable.

We stayed at Four Mile State Park a few years ago and it was a very nice place BUT it was right after a rain storm and the ground was very wet and soft (messy).

We also stayed at Four Mile Creek, July 2014. Great place as a home base then out on the town in the toad.

Niagara Falls-Canada

I stayed there and agree it's a great place to stay while visiting the falls. There's a lot of Canadian Geese in the CG , so be sure to check your shoes after walking around .

Crossing

A little off topic but what bridge do you use to cross-over (with the motorhome)?

Depends on where and when you're going. Queenston/Lewiston from upstate New York, peace bridge for anywhere else. The rainbow bridge is right in the tourist area so while it looks convenient it can be a traffic headache if it's tourism season.

Rainbow

I guess that was my question. Can you cross at the rainbow bridge? I wasn't sure if they allowed that. I know they don't allow big trucks.

Niagara Falls-Canada

Sherkston Shores RV Resort on the Canadian side. I don't think it's too far from the border (20 mins).

It's my ALL-TIME favourite RV resort! Check it out! Not much nature but amazing heated pool, hot tubs, nightly entertainment, water slides, lake, sand beach, pond etc.

Absolutely HUGE too!
