Niagra Falls Campground and Lodging, Niagara Falls Campground & Lodging. It is very nice and they offer many tours that pick you up right at the campground so you never need to drive to the crowded falls and worry about finding parking. There is also a great RV dealer/service center within a 1/2 mile if you need anything. Lots of resturants and shopping closeby. We loved out trip to Niagra. Mae sure you take your passports so you can see the falls from the Canadian side. We took tours on 2 separate days, US side then Canadian side just wonderful.

Niagra Falls
Do NOT stay at KOA north. It is about 1 mile from the Niagara Falls dump and if the wind is blowing the wrong way on a hot day you will know it. We believe staying on the Canadian side is best, and with the exchange rate it is to your benefit, sorry Canada, but you get the American tourists! Also the Canadian side of the falls is cleaner. The border crossing is easy as long as you are not carrying a gun.

We stayed at the Grand Island KOA and it was one of the better campgrounds we have stayed in. I am not a fan of KOA at all, but this place was very good if not excellent. Yes the Canadian side is like night and day from the US side.

We stayed there also. The island is pretty quiet and the park is very nice. KOA took out some of the RV sites and made them into large double sized sites and that was nice. Pretty close and easy to get to the falls. There are bridges to and from the island so there are small tolls for crossing the bridges.

We also stayed at the Grand island KOA. Agree with the others that it was nice. However, do not stay on the last row in the 2nd section. We felt like we were in the middle of the thruway. It was incredibly loud. I would only stay in the 1st section, or if in the 2nd section, it would have to be away from the thruway.

Excellent advice. We were in the front section (1st section) near the pool/office and as you say it's quiet in that section.

You may be talking about 4 Mile Creek State Park. We stayed there in May. It is right on Lake Ontario, and 15 minutes from the border bridges. The sites have plenty of space between them. We booked a site with electricity. None had water and sewer...but there were places to take on fresh water and to dump tanks. Would definitely stay there again when we return to the area.

Howdy!
We've stayed at both Niagra Falls Campground and Four Mile Creek. Niagra Falls CG is way over priced. We stayed there a few days and moved to Four Mile Creek. It was much nicer being right on the lake and close to Old Ft Niagra. The drive into town is nice along the river in stead of driving through the town of Niagra. Make sure to book a site with electric they have a lot of dry camping (boondocking) at Four Mile Creek.

We got ours a few years ago. No problems, just follow the instructions. Easy process.

Just be sure to apply early for your passport. Takes awhile to process the first time.
