Not sure it's really the "nicest", but a lot of folks rave about it.

In Florida...(not really on east coast but really nice).

Topsail Hill Sp in Santa Rosa FL

Assateague has like two sections. The good one is reserved a year in advance in some cases. The other section has skeeters.

Looks like only one loop, according to the map,has electric....That's a little over two hours from me,but now I'm thinking I might not be able to get a site?

How about slides? I have opposing front living room slides and some of them sites look rather narrow.

Give me the goods on the skeeter alert as well...

My error. There is only one section, but the best sites are nearest the dunes. The back part further back away has skeeters.

Anything in Chincoteague?

That site in Assateague says the park doesn't allow pets. That's a big negative for lots of RVers isn't it? We've visited the area (We live in PA, a day trip) and the mosquitos and horse flys are terrible. Just keep that in mind. Those big horse flys bite!
