Come over and say "Hi", and we'll take you out on the boat. We'll either be on our site, #61, or if the construction (new deck and patio) is on-going, we'll be on site #52.

Jay, just want to make sure you are talking about Cane Creek RV Resort. Thinking about booking it for a couple days.

Yes, but the name has been changed to: Lake Greenwood's Cane Creek Motorcoach Resort, or Lake Greenwood Motorcoach Resort, depending on who you talk to, or which sign you see.

It might be too long of a stay for you, but right now he has a "pay for three, get three free" promotion going on.

That's a good deal but I think we are going to come up on Aug 5 for 2 nights and check it out then head up to Campfire Lodgings for a week. Thanks for all your help Jay. Jan and I would like to meet you and Peggy and the boat ride sounds great too. Hope to get my reservations tomorrow!

Just in case you're "dog people"... we spent a month at Four Paws Kingdom near Rutherfordton a couple of years back and loved it. Park is very secluded and dedicated to our canine friends with seven different dog parks, trails, etc.

Those pictures Jay posted look fantastic though.

Hey, when you call, tell him (Mel) you'd like to check the place out, but would only have a couple of nights. He may give you a BOGO - doesn't hurt to ask.

River Bend in Lake Toxaway, NC has my vote. We stumbled across it last year and we'll spend July. It's a small campground and more for adults although they have a stream and pond for kids. Very close to our house and about 10 degrees cooler.

Mamma Gertie's is a very nice and clean campground, with free wi-fi and cable tv. It's located in Swannanoa, NC and is approximately 10 miles from Asheville.

Will do Jay. I appreciate all your help. Let you know what Mel says. Coffee man, Lake Tocaway sounds nice too. Which RV resort were you at?
