Kids have a 4 day break over Labor Day. We have spent most of the summer traveling South and absorbing as much & heat humidity as we can... Now it is time to look for some cooler weather.
Need some thoughts & places to visit above our home location in PA for the extended weekend.
Lets hear them...

After looking around, we reserved a premium site at:
http://www.chautauquahgts.com
Has anyone been there? We are currently in Wilmington, NC for the week and with heat indexes over 100 each day the cool NY evenings will be nice.

Ive's run is very popular, we stayed at Chatauqua Lake but not the KOA. Beautiful area and it should be much cooler than what you been having in NC.

If you are willing to come as far north as NY, we were able to get a full hook up site at Lake George RV Resort just a few days ago for the Labor Day Weekend...

Hi Faith -
We live in Central PA & only about 6 hours from LG. We are headed there the end of September for the hot air balloon festival.
We are only in NC this week for a week of vacation at the beach. :-)
