North MS to DC.

Wife and I want to take a trip to DC and are looking for the best route from North Ms. We'd like to stop a couple of times on the way and overnight, possibly arriving in DC on Saturday to avoid all the traffic. Any suggestions? Campgrounds? We are pulling a 26 ft travel trailer with an F250 Powerstroke.

Route IDK but I stayed at Cherry Hill, The Metro bus stops in the campground and takes you to the Metro train station (about a 45 min trip in total to the Mall) so NO DRIVING in DC traffic, The campground is really nice to.

There's a few more places to stay, but Cherry Hill is really geared for the D.C. visitor.
