We will be park hosts at the Chena Lakes State Park.

Have driven thru the park many times. There never seemed to be many campers in the park. Not sure what the weekends bring. The sites are nice a big, and very private. You'll only be about 5-10 minutes from the shopping center in North Pole. Check out YouTuber Alaskan motorhome he does a few quad-copter fly-overs of Chena Lakes. It will give you a lay of the land. Where he is flying over in this video is the beach and picnic areas.
