Northern Cal, Hwy 5, to North Washington

Currently in the Elks Lodge RV Park in Redding, CA. Great place to stay and fits my budget too. Since I'm a member of the Elks, Moose, and Eagles, I take advantage of the great rates when I can.
Gonna head up Hwy 5 in a couple of days. Any suggestions on places to stay? I really don't like traveling much more than 200 miles at a hop and eventially I'm going to end up in northern Washington.
Thanks, Jim

7 Feathers casino , has an RV park , Canyonville , OR I-5 Exit 99 ? easy drive from where you are . RV park is pricy , $40. but there is a large dry camp area and rest stop/ fuel/food and of course casino.
We usually run from Lodi to Canyonville in a day, then Canyonville to Seattle so can't say about stops in between.

Caution driving north from Redding, road construction at Antlers on the bridge. More again on Siskiyou Pass, one lane and very slow going. Just drove the rig to Eugene and back a week and a half ago.

If you aren't tied to being close to the 5, places to think about are:

Crater Lake (a ways from the 5)
McMinnville to go to the Evergreen Aviation Museum and see the Spruce Goose
The Columbia Rover Gorge and falls
Mt. St. Helens

I'm sure others will have additional suggestions...

Steve
