We are presently in southern Calif and plan to start up to Oregon and Washington around the first of March. Anyone have any specific parks that they would recommend? Thanks

It would help if you could give a little more information. Are you looking for state park type facilities or more private RV parks? How long do you intend to stay at each location? Have you settled on a route that you intend to follow?

We will be going up I5. I have a reservation for The Water Front at Potlatch for April 24. We would like to get up their around the end of March. We are planning on the north west from April 1 to maybe the end of September. thanks for any suggestions.

I would recommend Pacific Shores in Newport, Or. Oregon in March you might still set some adverse weather.

If you would consider getting off the interstate and taking the more scenic Hwy 101, you'd have much better choices of scenic parks. Also, that's very early for traveling in Oregon/Washington. The weather will be very iffy. Oregon's state parks along the coast are wonderful.

Thanks, it is a bit early, we are probably a little too eager. We are thinking of maybe April 1. I will look into 101 and parks along that route.

Dan,

A nice stop just North of Portland at Woodland, Wa. is on the Columbia River with great views of ships up and down the river.
Columbia Riverfront RV Park
Great for a day or two...read the reviews in RV Park Reviews web site. some minor issues with strick rules.
