We are a caravan of 21 MH touring Canada. We nade reses here today, told the owner in advance what we had coming and asked if he could handle us. He said he could.

When we hooked up, the CG electricity went out. The owner manager came out and reset the breakers. He showed us how to do it, told us we could expect the power to fail about every 20 minutes because of our large rigs!

He was right - every 10 - 15 mins we had to reset the CG breakers. We complained to the owner manager. It was about 3:00 in the afternoon and he was already in his cups!

Told us the problem was not with the CG power but with our rigs! He said our rigs were made in the US and were wired for American amps, and his CG was wired for Canadian amps, so of course it wouldn't work!
We decided to go down the road, but he rfused to refund us our money. Those of us who used plastic will be disputing the charge; a local residnet suggested we complain to the Vistoru/Tourism office; and if we were really upset, to go to the local gendarmes and file a 'commercial fraud' omplaint against him!
I do know e will be contacting Woodall's to get his ad corrected. He claims 30 amos but dleivers only 15 or 20.
What a deal!! Oh yes, he cgarges #30 per night, elec and water only - sewer extra and elec only if you are wired for Canadian amps!!!

Stay away from this place!
Paul

Can't I buy a Canadian-to-American amp converter at the border?

That is absolutely amazing!

Rusty

P.S. - I can't resist. I'm gonna link this one up to the Humor forum!

How about "they all do that now as the electrical parts are made in China". By the way where abouts is this place with the 15 minute breakers?

PDB: Please take the time to add this place to our campground reviews section, and also post a review so other members will be forewarned. Your experiences there were so outreageous, it must have seemed comical after the frustration ebbed. Thanks for your post!

AARON&CHERYL: I'm pretty sure the info you seek is in the threads title

He's likely one of those "small Businessman" that pressured the Nova Scotia Govmt. into banning all overnight stops in public parking lots within the Province

See the Canadian Section for details.

If anything ever turns me off RV'ing, it will be lousy campground operators! Meantime the good ones are keeping me at it

Aaron & Cheryl;
The park is located on Oakhill Rd, just outside Bridgewater, NS.
