I am heading to Lake George
ny on july 4th week from pittsburgh pa, we want to go earlier than our reservation where is a good place to stop for a couple of days? It needs to be a campground that can accommodate a 42' fifth wheel!

Caravan tours use a
couple of different campgrounds around Bath. That's good for exploring Corning and the Finger Lakes. Or you can use Belden Hill at Binghamton for exploring that area as a jumping off point.
