I love to see the sign that shows the way to US40 which lead to rt75 which mean I am almost to my house in Englewood. Next time through I will have to slow down and find these other places. Interestingly, my MH was own by folks in Ocala who owned a horse riding academy.

We went to the December, First Friday Art Walk in Ocala and had a good time. The even had an orchestra playing in the town square.

Downtown Artwalk

Too bad you don't like to kayak but you might like the glass bottom boat tours at Silver Springs.

A drive outside of town seeing some of the beautiful horse farms is something else. Some of those horses live better than I do, and I live pretty nice. I am not a horse person, but I can sure appreciate the beautiful horse farms.

Zip line the Canyons is a great attraction, adventure zip lining. Not for the meek or timid, but a great 3 hr trip through the tree tops

Crystal River isn't too far from there. If you haven't been to see the Manatees, probably worth the trip over there for that. Easily done in an afternoon. If you want to make a day of it, there's decent fresh seafood available as well. Sunset at the end of Fort Island Trail (there's a pier overlooking the gulf).
