Ocean Front Camp Grounds on East Coast

I'm Looking for Ocean Front Camp Grounds on East Coast. Looking for a place to chill on the beach. Don't want to drive! When I get there

If you narrow it down a bit you will get better answers.

Have you checked out Myrtle Beach? We used to go to the State Park there (not a long drive from Goose Creek, where we lived). There are also several commercial campgrounds in Myrtle Beach & vicinity.

Ocean shoes in Myrtle Beach is right on the water, biggest RV park around, great reviews. We try to go there once a year.

I know of none in New Jersey but in Delaware their Cape Henlopen and Delaware Seashore State Parks Camping in Delaware State Parks have campsites adjacent to the beach. Further South you have several in Assateaque State Park Assateague State Park When I looked into it you had to make reservations almost a year in advance. I was looking six months out and all I could find was some weekdays. Never followed through with staying at any of them. There are several inlet and bay side commercial resorts that might work like Cherrystone at the end of DELMARVA which gets a lot of good reviews. Recently there was an article in one of the RV magazines on Campgrounds in Virginia Beach which were across the highway from the beach. That might be an area to look at. It all depends on where in the the East Coast you are looking at.

If you are looking in Northern Florida area several years ago we stayed at Beverly Beach Camptown RV Resort Welcome To Beverly Beach Camptown RV Resort | Beverly Beach Camptown it's about 30 miles below St. Augustine. The spaces are right on the beach only the sea wall separates you. The way they set up the utilities are back to back so you want to ask for a space that you pull into so you can open your front window to get the sunrise every morning. A little pricey but worth it to me. Even the inside row which is a bit cheaper are only about 100 feet from the beach.

The RV park in Leading Tickles, Newfoundland, is a great park surrounded by ocean.

I see from your public profile you're in South Carolina. I'd think you'd be familiar with Myrtle Beach.
