Ocean Lakes

Day 5 of annual trip to ocean lakes, not as busy as other years but still pretty full. Cant wait till friday to see my friend Larry Stephenson and all the bluegrass singers! Rving and bluegrass, don't get much better!!!!!

My wife and I were at Ocean Lakes last June. We will NEVER return. Never have we been treated so shabbily while paying so much money. Did I mention golf carts and kids? They are all over the place, even though it is against the law for underage kids to be driving them in SC. I asked the chief of security about being ignored at arrival, she said we are very busy and I'm tired, haven't even had lunch today.

OL is our favorite RV park in Myrtle Beach and we've never had a problem. However, we never go in summer, always spring and fall. All of Myrtle Beach is a zoo in the summer.

Dang! Hate to hear that, this is our 10th year in a row staying here. Have always had a great time but this definitely is not the place for peace and quiet. The kids on golf carts is a whole nother issue, they are not supposed to be on them unless they are a licensed driver at least 16 years old. Great people all around me, retired fire fighters, highway patrolmen and other folks i just met that love to drink coffee in the mornin with me and a cold drink at night!
