Anyone ever park for the night at one of the OH Tunrpike Travel Plaza's???
I understand some of them have rv hook ups.

We were on the Ohio turnpike a few weeks ago, and saw some of the special RV parking areas. There is a cost of $15 or $20 with electric hookup and a dump station. Check the Ohio DOT web site for locations and cost. Ohio has some of the best rest stops we have seen.

Yes I have seen the web sites, I am thinking would be a good place to stop for the night on the way to eastern PA with dogs.

And yes, our governor wants to sell the turnpike...As soon as all the rest areas are replaced and the 3rd lane completed now your going to give it away....? I hope that never happens....

We have stayed at the same one twice so far. Both times it was a Weds night on the way to race. I pulled in with my race car trailer in tow,all 65 foot of us. I did have to take about four spaces ,BUT,no one else was ever there. Filled up with water,dumped our tanks,used their electric...not a bad deal for a twenty dollar donation.

I've seen the site but have not stayed in any. They don't look to be very big.

Well I am off in the a m and for better or worst will plan on the OH turnpike travel plaza for the night. Will report back in about two weeks my thoughts
