Kalaloch is right on the coast just north of Hoquiam. Sits right up over the ocean.
Ocean Shores is a nice place also. There is a big casino there that should cater to RV's.

The Elma RV park is where I get propane, its about 4 miles from our house.
It would be a good place to park if the park isnt your main focus.

The drive you speak of is what we call "driving the loop".
Head north out of Hoquiam, up to Forks, over to Port Angles, maybe Port Townsend and back down hood canal to Olympia.

Cool Two things that may interest you

One unique aspect of the Olympic Peninsula is that two dams were removed from the northward flowing Elwha River:

I don't know what touristy things are associated with this.

If are interested in US Navy history, you can drive to Bremerton and the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard with its extensive history:

Both Twin Harbors and Grayland Beach State Parks are fun places if you like the washington coast. Both are south of Westport.
If you head to the north side of gray's harbor, near Ocean Shores, there are several places to stop. Here's a link with several suggestions.
