I just received a response from a CG about a one month rental.

I inquired about staying March 11th to April 10 th.

They said monthly rentals run from the 1st to the 1st of each month. Is this a common practice ?

Do they expect me to pay for 4 weeks at a higher rate ?

I will call them tomorrow for more info, because I got the response after the office closed.

The last two GGs let me run from the 15th to the 15th and even pro-rated 1/2 the rate between high and low season.

I asked the same question when I rented where we are at currently. It doesn’t matter which 30 days you choose here. Perhaps the CG you’re dealing with tie it to when electric meters are read?? Other than that, I got nothing.

What you experienced is not normal. However, the only rules that count are "house" rules.

Every park is different. Have been to a few where it is calender month only. Some are 30 days = month, was at one where 28 days= month. Having a stay longer than a month (45 days as an example) prorated to monthly rate I have found very unusual. Most would be one month at monthly rate and the balance at the daily rate.
