One night near Lexington, KY?

We will be heading to southern Mississippi from Toronto in mid-April, first trip with our TT, and need to find a good place to stop for the night near Lexington, KY. Anyone have any suggestions? We'll have our two dogs with us.

The Kentucky Horse Park is worth a night and more:

Kentucky Horse Park :: KHP Campground :: Lexington, KY

It opens for the season March 15.

Ditto. Nice place - you can select your site online using camp map and individual site photos. Not full hookup, but the dump stations are well laid out and plentiful. Depending on your timing - consider staying long enough to spend a day at the races at Keeneland.

Whispering Hills RV Park in Georgetown KY is just a bit north of Lexington KY off of I-75.

Butler state park is about 70 miles away. We stayed over night so did not get to see all it offered, but it was nice and you can do a late check in by paying in a drop box. Daughter did a archery lesson before we left.Click image for larger version

We stayed at Whispering Hills also, nice park for overnight stay. Used pullthrough site and didn't have to unhook.
