Opening day Trout in SE/PA

Last weekend we went to Brandywine Creek Campground just outside of Downington PA(7 miles from PA TPK exit) We had a great time, campground wasn't fully open yet. The bath house was open,(spacious and clean) and they were selling plenty of firewood. The weather was dreary and cold,it rained late Fri. night.we arrived around 5pm. It was myself (Rick) my brother in law Fitz, his brother Fenton (family name) 3 nephews Al, Blaise ,and Andrew, and 2 great nephews Alo and Domi, and my dog Schaffer. It was a guys weekend. Fri. night we had a fire going, I cooked some sausage & dogs on the grill. My nephew Al brought his Pop Up also. The 2 great nephews are his sons, and Fitz is Al & Blaises father, and Andrew is my wifes sisters son.The great nephews had a great time, Sat morn we went fishing,Andrew was the only one to catch anything 2 nice Brown Trout, which my nephew Blaise cooked on the fire,I was havin a good watching the 2 little guys,Icall them The Bruze Brothers. There is a small pond on site, they caught some frogs and salamanders, they like the out doors.I made a 6QT. crock pot of beef stew for dinner is was gone in no time, you havent seen these 3 nephews eat and drink,(2+ cases of beer) After dinner we had another fire and Fitz was teaching the Bruze Brothers how to split wood and keep the fire going. The campgound was croweded, alot of tenters, we were about 50 feet from the creek,(it is stocked by the PA fish comm.) Alli all everybody had a good time. We're already planning for next year.
