Heading South from Kent Wa in a couple days to Redding Ca. I-5 or the 101 thru Oregon? Just curious about road conditions, we're still recovering from the trip down the Cassier Highway from Alaska.
If you are in a hurry take I5 if not 101 is much more scenic. Personally I would not go anywhere until after the 2nd as the coast will be packed for the holiday. We are actually leaving next Thursday and will follow 101 from Copalis Beach WA. South to Petaluma CA. then over to Tahoe. Plan to take 2 weeks or more to get that far.

Thanks Brian & Winepress. After a wonderful but long day at The Gorge yesterday for a concert, we've decided to stay put until Tuesday and then head south. Safe Travels
I think you mean it the other way around..... it's a bit more difficult going "northwards" than "southwards".
