Oregon Coast Hidden Gem
YOU ARE INVITED
We are camp hosts at a small RV park associated with Wi-Ne-Ma Christian Camp, oceanside, between milepost 93 & 94 on WiNeMa Rd. There is no sign on Hwy 101, watch for the road on the ocean side & keep heading down to the beach. Come through the gate & enter the RV park on the right; check-in with camp host.
The public is invited to use the sites with the exception of the dates conferences are booked.
Conference dates for 2012 are: July 29-Aug 3; Aug 31-Sept 3; Sept 10-15.
All other dates are first come first serve; NO reservations. You can call the camp, during business hours, before arriving to check on availability. 503-392-3362
There are some unusual rules that ARE enforced.
NO pets
NO smoking (public land is next to the park for smokers)
NO alcohol and/or drugs
Limited availability showers (this is a youth camp and they have priority but there is a scheduled time for RV park users)
Restrooms always available
If you are still reading here's the good stuff
All sites have water, 20/30 amp, sewer.
Laundry in shower building. (see above)
There is limited free wi-fi.
Verizon works well, ATT not so much.
OCEAN FRONT
All this for $25.00 night; $20.00 for tent campers.
While this park is not for everyone, if you can live with the rules this is a true gem.

Thanks for the insight! Sounds great. If it weren't for the pet limitation, we'd be swinging by in the near future!

Looks like it could be a nice place to stay for some, but you lost us @ "NO pets".

No Pets! No visit by us! I always say, I bought the MH, for my pets. Lots of RV'ers out here with pets.

As the OP (my DW) said, if you don't have pets this is a very nice option. Full hook up right on the beach for $25. Here are more photos.

Looks really lovely, but the *no pets* restriction got us too. Would be happy to comply with the other rules if it weren't for that.

Great place wonderful beaches. Was there about 40 yrs. ago. Friend lived just Down the road from there. How large a rig can they handle now?
Would love to spend time there again.

Most of the RVs here at the moment are 35' - 45'. Also have smaller TT & pop-up here. Plenty of room to maneuver.
You may need some blocks for leveling on some sites but pretty level overall.
WiNeMa Rd has a few potholes, just like all the roads on the coast , so just take it slow.
Unbelievably beautiful!!!!

It looks lovely and we would like to stop there, but, the "no pets" gets us booted out. To bad, we're some of the good ones that always leashes and always picks up after.
Maybe in another life.
Thanks for the pictures. We are headed in that direction and there must be other less pet restrictive places along the way. I'd drop anchor if I didn't have the pet.
