I'm in Crater Lake RV Park right now...no cell, no texting no internet and no shot to the SE sky for satellite. They offer DirecTV if you have a box but mine didn't work so after some puzzle solving got it to work by putting my carryout SWM on their sat coax.

If you want internet go across hwy 62 to Prospect, turn left at stop sign and go to Pizza place...they have great internet (I'm using it now). Don't forget to buy food!!

Don't miss Bandon Or, it is across bridge from Bullards. Little fish place on dock best fish and chips anywhere. Nice little downtown for shopping.

Newport on the coast has a great Aquarium. River otters are fun to watch, and the Puffins are fun too. There's also a great cafe at Nye Beach called the Chowder Bowl. In you go to Bend, take the kids to the High Desert Museum just out of town. They also have river otters and living history displays.

Yes, the Fish Market. Really good fish & chips. Don't forget Cranberry Sweets. Taste test just everything cranberry. We never seem to leave Bandon without dropping cash there.

Looks like they want to go to Cannon Beach. We think we will leave on Friday after school and drive half way there. Then continue on to Cannon Beach on Saturday for 3 nights. While there make a day trip to ST Helens. Leave there and drive to Crater lake for 2 or 3 nights before continuing back to Mountain Home. The grandkids would only miss 3 days of school by doing it this way. We are hoping that Crater Lake will be open since we would be there Sept 29-Oct 1.
