Thanks for all the tips. When we finished up with some coach service in Junction City, we headed down I-5 and got on 38 over to Reedsport. That was a scenic and easy drive. Stayed in Bandon, ate some dungenous crab .

Now in Crescent City, CA and heading down to Ancient Redwoods RV park in Redcrest. Great scenery on 101 and, yes, it is rough in places between Bandon and Brooksville.

we just drove across Oregon on 20 and down the coast on 101 from Florence to Novato....lots and lots of construction on 101....the casinos are great...most allow three nights free!!!

where is brooksville? per haps you mean brookings and spell check got you

What, no August trip through Oregon? We went thru Grants Pass on August 20th sunny and 106 should have went to the desert for that heat. and yes, it was my wifes idea to travel at that time of year
