Outer Banks
Can someone recommend a campground in outer banks area. Kill Devil Hills or Nags Head area would be my first choice.

We just came back from Camp Hatteras. It was our 1st time there and we are already planning a return. Not too far from nags head and the crowds....have fun!

I was planning on staying at Camp Hatteras, but at $90+ a night I may look for someplace else.

We keep ours at a seasonal site at Joe and Kay's in Kill Devil Hills on the OBX, the OBX campground is just down the street from where we are at, and appears to be very clean, and well maintained. Good luck and enjoy

Joe and Kay's is nice, it is pretty quiet, lots of older rvs, most never leave. Neighbors are all great, park could use a little cleaning, and updating, but we enjoy it very much. Also the rates are lower than anywhere on the beach, I believe there is probably a waiting list for a site. Good luck

KOA in Rodanthe was nice. A little pricey, but worth it.
