Outer Banks RV Parks

Can anybody recommend a park near the outer banks of NC? Not necessarily on the outer banks but within say50 miles.

Hey Allan, the Outer Banks (OBX) cover a lot of territory. Over approximately 2/3 of the North Carolina coastline. What area of the OBX are you interested in? and what time of year?

North River Campground is about 30 min.s from the Outer Banks. It's east of Elizabeth City and a great place to camp. It sits in a swamp with a large manmade lake. Judy and Everett are great folks and will do everything to make your stay enjoyable.

Camp Hatteras is a beautiful place. Sits between sound and ocean. Is at Waves NC. If you are member of Coast To Coast is very inexpensive. Has great amenities. See website .

A great spot where I believe every site is water front... with many of them being "pull ins" for coaches. I heard it is part of Andy Griffith's old hunting grounds.
