I always use the Flying J's for my abbreviated overnight stays....Most have a large enough RV area you can get into and even if the RV area's full I go around back and park with the big boys.....NEVER had a problem.

If you need a place with full hookups the Bowling Green KOA is open year round. We've stayed there during a February trip from WI to Atlanta and found it to be a decent park. It was the first place south of here that was open or didn't have the water shut off at that time of year.

Hi All,

Another good place to overnight is Cracker Barrel, and then when you wake up you have a good place for breakfast !!! Of course when I am useing them I am pulling in around 11 pm when they are closed. as far as the courtesy/consideration whether or not to open slides? It all depends on space in other words if you can open the slide with out taking up the next parking spot or blocking others movement then it is ok!! You can also use Wal-Marts for overnight stays! If you pick-up the Wal-Mart Road Atlas it has a list of all the Wal-Marts! Hope this helps some and enjoy the trip !!!!!

Walnut Meadow RV & Campground in Berea, KY is near I-75 and is a PA park charging only $12.

Fox Inn, Clinton, Tenn.

Very convenient to I75. No highway noise. Great owners. A few permanent units that are not great, but you are not buying the lot.

Oh Kentucky, Berea, Ky. is also a good overnight campground.

Reed Bingham State Park, Adel, Georgia is about 5 miles West of I75.

Outdoor Resorts, Jennings, Florida is another good choice. 2 mile S. of Georgia line.

Two state parks close to I-75 that I can recommend:

GA - High Falls SP - exit 198 south of Atlanta

FL - Stephen Foster Folk and Cultural Center -- exit 439 -- just a few miles south of the FL line
