Overnighter between Indio & Quartzsite - Correction

Oooops. Sorry for misleading everyone on my original post We will already have been on the road for about 5 hours by the time we get to Indio. So, still looking for an overnighter between Indio and Quartzsite on I-10.

Again, sorry for not giving enough details on original post. Happy travels.

Not much available between Indio and Blythe. It's about 125 mile distance so why not just spend the night in the Spot Light 29 casino parking lot in Indio then the next day drive the 125 miles to Quartzite (approx a 2 1/2 hour trip)

If you decide to travel to Blythe then it's only 20 miles from there to Quartzite.

This is what I would do its a good spot easy to get to its paved so not dirty. Stayed there several times.

I run the other way - not a campground, but just outside of Joshua Tree State Park at 33.674135,-115.802760. There are a bunch of open places off both sides of cottonwoods springs road. It's just dirt, but it's fairly quiet and plenty of room for everyone.
