Page and Moab park recommendations please

Will be traveling thru Page, AZ and Moab, UT and would like to know the best parks to stay. I will have a Excursion 33 and an attached enclosed 12' trailer. I would prefer 60 foot spots with wifi access and shade. We do have two dogs that will be with us. Probably a few days each at these locations. During the day will be riding around on the Harley.

Looking for real life suggestions

Thanks in advance.

We took the boat ride to Rainbow bridge National Monument , the worlds highest natural bridge. Well worth the trip.

We stayed at Portal RV Resort in Moab a couple of years ago and really liked it, They have a campground and a resort (where the sites are owned). If you decide to stay there, I suggest a reservation as it was full when we were there due to a large Airstream rally.

I think Portal is the best park in Moab, but don't expect much shade. You will find great riding around the area. Dead horse, arches park and castle valley to name a few.

Just stayed at Wahweap - beautiful. You're able to use all the resort facilities, such as the pool, while staying at the RV park. WiFi was strong. Some shade, but lot a lot. Also have reservations at Portal in Moab later this year to do a hike out to Dark Angel, the last trail for us to finish up hiking all of Arches. Been there in the past, and as mentioned, not a lot of shade.

Fyi, the brewery in moab makes good beer, but the food is sub par imo. There is a really good thai restaurant in town. Also, if you have a desire to mountain bike, the porcupine rim trail is awesome.

Thank you. Sounds like a good fit....I love beer and she loves Thai food

We do have bikes but not mountain bikes. We will ride where we can. The other type of riding we will be doing will be on the Harley.

When will you be in Moab? I arrive 7 June for the rest of June. If you have time take an off road Jeep tour or rent a Jeep.

Wanted to edit my post....We own a jeep and an Arctic Cat off road vehicle but we will only have a Harley with us this time. The Jeeprental may be the ticket.

Thanks for the info

We stayed for a couple nights last August at Riverside Oasis RV Park. They just built a new hotel (Fairfield Inn I think?) which is right next door so more light and noise. But Riverside Oasis does have some decent trees for shade. It is also at north end of town, and right on the river. So you need to drive into town. Length of spaces should be OK with your 33 ft and trailer. Mostly pull throughs, but also some back-in which may be too short for your needs. They also have some tent spots, so you get a wide variety of who is staying there for accomodations from basic tent up to big MH's.

No idea on wifi, we did not even try that as busy doing other stuff. It is closest RV Park to Arches National Park entrance, and highly suggest you do that while in town
