Paiute trail Utah Camping

We are thinking about a trip to Utah to ride ATVs. We have never been to the area and was wondering if anyone can suggest a good campground to start out with that is on the trail system. We usually like to boondock in National Forests but I thought we would start in a commercial campground to look things over. Thanks.

We like to stay at the Richfield UT KOA. You can ride to the trails directly from the park without needing to trailer and the town is very welcoming of ATV's on their city roads. If you've never been I suggest checking out ATVJAM.COM for info on the annual fall event in Richfield... great way to learn the trails!

Glad to find this. I am travelling from Lake Havasu to Moab in Oct, and I had picked Richfield off the map as a stopover point. I may have to unload the Mule and check out the trails. I wish other states would embrace ATV's like UT. I was totally frustrated in Big Bend National Park with their "registered vehicles only" policy regarding their off road trails.
