Panama City Beach

We are looking to stay at Panama City Beach for 3 nights starting on the 1st of October. We are therefor checking the prices of the campgrounds in the area and we have found that this is not cheap. Panama City Beach RV resort quotes $54 plus tax etc.

Just for the fun of it, I checked the cost of hotels in the area, and I found that I can get a beachfront room for $35 per night.

I think that I will call the hotel and ask about parking restrictions. If they have plenty of parking I might as well stay at a hotel and save my self $20 plus per night.

Funny how you can get a room on the beach (or even Vegas) for $35 a night, but a Motel 6 on the Interstate is $100...

However, is that $35 a night for 2 adults? Might be a wash when you compare.

Tropical Storm (soon to be hurricane) Isaac is predicted to come ashore somewhere in that area. It would be wise to recheck the park afterwards...
