This would earn me a very sternly worded letter from the HOA

Got a ticket when my MH sat in front of my house over-night. (LI) but spent 2 weeks in Colorado (Buena Vista) in front of son's with no problem. As said, check local authorities!

Maybe ticket be less than two nights in campground!!

I'd say two days not be long enough for the city to get involved. Unless a town board member lives next door.

I've done it half a dozen times at my brother in laws place up to four days, slide out with electrical cord ran. Did cover the cord so nobody would trip on it. He lives in a court and knows his neighbors well, nobody cared.

Even though we live in an unincorporated area, we get regular drive through's by County Sheriffs so if there was an ordinance we'd know about it
As we park right out front to load and unload for each trip.

I did check the subdivision restrictions and 3 days is our HOA's max... (but that's less than my wife's threshold for looking at it out front !)

"i wouldn't ask anyone.....better to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission.."

Only problem with that is you open yourself up to being cited. We brought our RV home Tuesday night & had a ticket on it by Thursday noon. Asking is by far more prudent.

My parents live in a ultra snooty area called Via Verdi in San Dimas, CA. During holidays (xmas) they allow me to pull right up to the house on the street for 4 days. If I go to the city hall I can pay an ultra exorbitant fee and do it other times of the year, but the KOA at the Pamona fair grounds is cheaper. All depends on how stuck up the area is, and what the maximum length of time a parking violation can occur before a tow happens. Over nigh, ehh, give me the ticket, Ill be on my merry way before you can take action, and they can't tow it with me in it ;-)
