Paul B. Johnson State Park in Mississippi by Hattisburg

Has anyone stayed there in the last year? We are thinking of going there for a few days to check it out for next summer (2009). There is a nice flea market real close to the park and we want to work there.

We stayed overnite there this spring. We were put in an area that was to the left just past the offices. The sites were unlevel to the point we could not level the coach. We did not see the sites further down into the park , but the park was clean and there were lots of campers there. One other thing I did not like is you have to drive over the dam of the lake to get into the park. The lake was overflowing the dam and the drop off in the road as kinda steep going down and up the other side.
