Pender Nebraska

I just purchased a 2016 Ford Expedition EL 4x4 and need base plates for a blue ox tow bar. I have been towing a car hauler trailer with a mustang loaded on it but now want to flat tow the Expedition. Blue Ox has told me to bring the vehicle up to their factory and they will fabricate the base plates, then establish a part number for any future customers. For my trouble they will give me the tow bar and some other equipment. The whole thing will take no more than 3 days. My wife and I will bring the vehicle up to Pender and we would like to know what there is to do there OR in the area for three days? Are there any sites to see up there while they fabricate and install the pieces on my vehicle. They are supplying a loaner vehicle with no mileage restrictions. We don't want to sit in a hotel for 3 days.

They probably only need the car, you could take the coach and explore the area. Mitchel SD is not far......Bruce

They gave us a free pickup to drive while we did it.
Sioux City is nearby as well as South Dakota. Lots of museums about Lewis and Clark...
Time went fast for us when we were there.
Blue Ox was wonderful to us.

I forget what all there is to do in PENDER but there is a very nice Campground you will like right next to the Blue-Ox Factory (just west of it) Price is right, At least for Blue-Ox custoemrs (Free).

I was only there a weekend.. Alas if the wind is blowing the wrong way you really won't much like it (There is a stockyard) did not bother old farm boy me but did bother my wife.

You are a reasonable drive from Lincoln, NE as I recall Lots to do there (perhaps an hour away) But about all we did in pender was Church and I had to visit a hardware for something.
Home is where I park it!
