Petersburg COE Campgroung

Just got back from a week at Petersburg COE Campground , just north of Augusta Ga. Price was great for us Geizzers, with Passport America. Was our first trip to a COE park

But, we do not want anyone out there going !!!!! Site was bad, view was bad, weather was bad. So write this place off you list !!!!!!! Go anywhere but here!!! Even think the lake is polluted, no fish, no boating, stay away . Please do not book here!!! More space for us .

Forgot, it was Holloween !!!

But Repeat !!!!! DO NOT GO HERE

Yes !! Sorry for the mistake, think it use to be the Golden Age Passport. Either way if your over 62, get it !!!! $10 for life, and half price for a lot of US Gov. places.

Thanks for sharing the photos. Looks like a beautiful place. Your rig looks great.

We will be driving through, the area in April. 2016. Looks like a good place to spend some time. Regarding "geezers" , I resemble that remark 😃, and we love using our federal geezer pass 👍.

Travel safely

I was at Petersburg about 3 weeks ago and agree with you. You should also look at Watsadler COE a little North from you on Lake Hartwell.

COE campgrounds are wonderful!!!

Thanks, checked out Wastsadler, looks nice,a good bit farther north from us than Petersburg. Was our first trip there and loved it, so don''t see any advantage to traveling farther, but thanks again.

Thanks !! It's our first new unit,i insisted on rear living ( just me and the wife) and we love it. Had it about a year now and about a dozen trips so far.

I had read about Petersburg before going, and many reviews commented on how large the sites where considering their size rating, i must dissagree on that, the sites have nice large deck area, but a lot of them are a good squeeze, and would take a good bit of jockeying around to get into . So i would listen to their size limits. But thats just from a Geezer !!!!!
