Need some help!
Derek and I are looking for a spot to park in Philly, as close to the city as possible.
found a couple in woodalls, but would like some more options. Will be for a 1 year term, and the campground doesn't need to be all that, just a safe place to live.
Any advice?

Hello Moder2, we live in philly proper, and I'm not aware of any CG thats all that close to the city. I know of one over by Valley Forge but if you need to come into the city daily, the expressway is a real bummer. I know a fellow who owns a couple of trailer parks, I will ask him if he may have a spot, or know a place.

There's a KOA in West Chester, but like Steve said, slim pickins close to Philly.

That's what we found too!
I think we might just pass on the opportunity because of that. It's a shame though, the money was really good.
Thanks for the replies.

Found this listing for Timberlane Campground across the river in Clarksboro, NJ. I don't know anything about it personally, but here is a link to their reviews on campgroundreviews.com. They claim to be the closest campground to Philly, but I guess it depends on where you are going in Philly whether it will work or not.
