Scotty, I looked up Goosenecks S.P. on Google Earth, it looks awesome, thanks. Looks like a cool place to spend a couple nights.

So Scotty, I placed a GE image here. Are motothomes restricted to that main area just beyond the pavement, or can you drive even further east on that dirt road and further off the frame of the picture?

AAAGH! I missed seeing that. We took our bike over to Mexican Hat and just passed Goosenecks and didn't realize it was there. We rode down to the San Juan River to where they launch kayaks, etc., but had no clue about Goosenecks S.P.. Maybe in my next life.

Jeff there were RV's parked well beyond the pavement. However, the dirt road gets very rough the further you travel, and I suspect very muddy if it ever rains. We drove the pickup all the way out to the point (to the right) but I would never take the MA out there.

Don't feel bad. We drove right past it while driving up the Moki Dugway on the 1st trip. I didn't realize it was there either until after we got home and read about it on IRV2. We decide to make it a stop on our next trip.

Great River Bluffs State Park, along the Mississippi River in Minnestota. It's very nice and quiet here so I think we'll spend a few days before getting back on the road.
