Looking at spending some extended time near Pinehurst Nc this fall and winter. Can anyone provide any firsthand information about campgrounds. We are traveling in a 40' dp . Thanks

Pinehurst camping

Sycamore Lodge & Resort is a few miles out of Pinehurst. You have to be a member or listen to a sales pitch. It is a nice campground but do not have sewer hook up unless they have upgraded. Do a search on it.
There was a real nice convenient campground just north of the traffic circle but it got sold off and is no longer a campground.

ocs, if you have a military connection you might look into Ft Bragg. At their size they may have a couple of FamCamps, and the backside of Bragg is quite close to Pinehurst.
