We stayed in the state park next door this weekend and it was our best experience to date (we've had our Sunstar 9 months). The sites are very far apart, the place is quiet and park like, and it is very close (just over the dune) to the beach and walking distance into town. It is really a beautiful park this time of year. The only catch is that it is dry camping only in the North Beach sites, though they do have a well maintained dump station. We prefer dry camping, so this is great for us.
Ate at Brad's today and the fish and chips were great. The line as Splash's wrapped around the side of the building, but they do have great chowder...
Weather was in the 70's....and it is still winter until next week! Love living in CA!
Brad's is a good place for fish & chips. I may offend some, but I'm not a fan of Splash, if you really want their clam chowder they sell it frozen @ Costco in SLO.
The weather has been great, but it almost always is. Have a great time while your here.
