We used to live in Pittsburgh. There's not much around the area. Fortunately, our daughter has room in the driveway of their new house when we go back to visit.

There is Raccoon State Park west of the city, and Rose Point Campground to the north in New Castle.

There is also a Passport America campground called Mountaintop Campground in Tarentum. We stopped by once to check it out without the RV. It's a good thing because I don't think we could have gotten the motorhome up to it.

Another PA campground is Pine Cove Beach Club and RV south of Pittsburgh in Charleroi. We satyed there once in the off season, but they have a large public pool, and it may get zooy in summer.

There is a KOA in Washington, PA, but it is right at the intersection of I-70 and I-79. It has a LOT of traffic noise.

I can't think of any place else, but maybe someone else will come up with some other suggestions.

We have been staying at Fox Den Acres for the past 6 years for our Pgh visits. Location is at New Stanton, Pa. Near turnpike entrance for quick travel to Monroeville and then the Parkway to Pgh. Also on 66 Turnpike to Delmont, Murrysville etc. My original home was in Turtle Creek then moved to Delmont. Moved to South Carolina in 1991.
