Cracker Barrel's.......wonderful!

Here is a shot of the Cracker Barrel in Corbin,Ky
As you can see the bus and RV parking spots out back, Security? Oh ya, all over the top of the buildings....all around them(At least the one's we stayed at) As far as their parking lots, out front where the cars park.....crowded, out back where the "semi's" go to unload.....lots of room. Some are tighter than others, but at least if a semi can drive around the building........a 45' RV can also, even towing......

Wal-Mart
Clinton, Tennessee 37716 - 150 Tanner Lane, GPS: 36.16778, -84.08633

Supercenter May 2013: called and asked to park. Very friendly and helpful. Park out from lawn and garden. Only grocery door open after 10 pm. Easy off and on from I-75. Mar 2013: I parked straight out from the garden center. Level and quite. Nice store. I went in and asked for permission and shopped. Oct 2012: Stayed here last night. Perfectly level side to side, the entire lot runs down from the front of the store. We did not ask. There were two other RVs and a truck. This is the quietest WalMart we have ever stayed at. Be sure to use the TRUCK ENTRANCE coming up the hill to the store. The car entrance is extremely tight and there is no where to turn around if you cant get in. You will have to back down the hill. Oct 2011: Did not ask but it was very good. We stayed on the south east corner Garden Center, Grocery, Open 24 hrs, Pharmacy, 1-Hour Photo Center, Tire and Lube Garden Center, Grocery, Open 24 hrs, Pharmacy, 1-Hour Photo Center, Tire and Lube (S)

At exit 39, there is a Wal-mart just east of the freeway (like quarter mile)

There is one long about 76 too.. Short story:

In CB radio threads I tell of going shouth monitoring both 19 and 13 on CB (Along with some Ham Radio frequencies).. Startred hearing about a pair of fatal accidents long about 73 MM. Took exit 76, Truck stop to the right (Oh there are truck stops at 39 as well) Walmart to the left, spotted WM first and had a nice restful night, Made it to Coribin (39) home of Coronal Sanders, the next day, well rested, no stress.

If you are a member of the Moose. there is the London Lodge, in Lily of course, but it's a bit hard to find. less you've been there, A good old KY mountain road it is on (Sharp curves just over the top of a hill type road, 20MPH the first time down it tops)

Rest stops along the interstate? Safe?

I thought we might try a Walmart but then read they don't allow overnight since repaving the lot.

We are about 57 feet when dragging the jeep; back-in parking is problematic.

we use this allstays website for overnight parking spots extensively. it is free to use and is kept up to date by users of the site.

Anybody familiar with the Walmart in Clinton, I stopped there several years ago & entered thru the car entrance, I had to drop my tow car & back out. I read the previous thread to enter using the truck entrance. I'll be there at night & want to be sure I don't end up in the car entrance again.

Place to overnight along I-75 in KY or TN?

Best thing is to just call them. (865) 938-6760, from what I see, it appears to be a "No Overnight" Walmart.

There are several others around the area as well.

Tedguard,
I think your looking at the Walmart in Knoxville on Clinton Road, I'm looking at the one in Clinton, TN.
