Place to overnight along I-75 in KY or TN?

Trying to get close (40 minutes or so) to the KY TN line along I-75 before stopping for a few hours of sleep. Campground with pull throughs preferred but willing to try other solutions.

Rest stops along the interstate? Safe?

I thought we might try a Walmart but then read they don't allow overnight since repaving the lot.

We are about 57 feet when dragging the jeep; back-in parking is problematic.

We stayed at a Walmart in TN. There are a few of them in KY and TN. You have more options if you a little further into northern GA.

We've stayed in the Walmart in Corbin, KY on several occasions. Close to the interstate and maybe 40 miles from the state line.

That's quite a document. Handy thing to have. I saved a copy for future reference.

Thank you.

There are some Pilot and T/A Truck Stops in that area of I-75.

If you're traveling late in the day, you probably don't want to push much farther than Corbin. You'll roll up on Jellico after that and I don't like that after dark. As stated there is a Walmart in Corbin and one in London (right before Corbin). Both are good locations for just an overnight pull-off. There is a train track next to the one in Corbin so just be aware of that. I woke up in the middle of the night and thought a train was coming through

Never thought about it. Small parking lots and no security.
