Planning First Trip to Canada... Is there a published guide?

Folks,

We are planning our first trip in the MH to the great country of Canada up to Winnipeg and then east to Ottawa and back south.

Where can I obtain a travell guide or guides?

I downloaded a Canada Travell app, but there are no listings for camp grounds.

Thanks!

If you are a member of the American Automobile Association (AAA) you can pick up some of their camping guidebooks. There is a wealth of information in these as to campgrounds throughout the area. We are members of the CAA and we have really found these Campbooks very useful.

Thanks

Thanks,

I found an E-Book that may answer most of my questions and point me to the websites specific to government information.

"RV TRAVEL TO CANADA". 2009, but it has links to further updated information.

Hi and welcome to Canada
Where the fuel prices are high and the people are very friendly
Watch out for the Black flys in the North and the mosquitos in the south
If you are coming in from Winnipeg few things you might want to see Ontario
Sault St. Marie for the Locks but they are small compared to the ones at Niagara Falls area
Further south near Midland Ontario Johnston's Cranberry Marsh
First Cranberry farm in Ontario dates to early 1950's
You can sample their Cranberry wine and they do a cheese platter if you do a reservation in advance. Henry's in Midland is right on the worlds largest fresh water harbour and serve great fish dinners
In Toronto you will see the CN Tower Worlds Tallest structure or was at one time
Thousand Islands are nice to go thru as well or you can drive through Algonquin Park but DO NOT travel thru it after dark
Moose and tourists park all over the road!
There is beautiful scenerio on your entire route Take the time to see as much as you can!
